EASL games will be broadcast live in markets all around the world under a series of new partnerships

East Asia Super League has finalized broadcast and streaming partnerships to ensure that the upcoming 2024-25 season, consisting of 34 total games, is available to watch for our millions of basketball fans all around the world.

This first announcement for EASL’s broadcast and streaming partners includes some of EASL’s core markets. EASL will be announcing additional broadcast partners in key markets soon.

The 2024-25 season tips off on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, at Manila’s SM Mall of Asia Arena. The league’s 10 teams — split evenly into two groups will compete in a home-and-away group stage format, culminating in the semi-final and championship games.

EASL’s Final Four event will take place March 7th through March 9th, 2025. The Final Four venue will be announced soon, with exciting events surrounding the championship event for all of EASL’s fans to enjoy.

Broadcast and streaming coverage currently in place for the 2024-25 season includes:

Japan

U-NEXT is EASL’s exclusive live rights partner for the streaming of all 34 EASL games, including the Hiroshima Dragonflies and Ryukyu Golden Kings competitions from the B.LEAGUE.

S. Korea

Live coverage in S. Korea will be exclusively available through CJ Entertainment on its pay TV channel, TVN Sports, and its OTT streaming platform, Tving.

Philippines

CIGNAL is EASL’s exclusive media rights partner in the Philippines. CIGNAL will show live and delayed coverage across its free-to-air station, One Sports, its pay TV channel, One Sports+ and OTT streaming platform, Pilipinas Live.

Chinese Taipei

Pay TV broadcaster and streaming platform Videoland has exclusive rights for live coverage of all 34 EASL games and will provide Chinese commentary.

Announcements regarding broadcast and streaming partnerships in China PRC, Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR will be coming soon.

Southeast Asia & S. Asia

EASL’s 2024-25 season will be available on platforms in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar and the Maldives. League games can be watched via the following broadcast partners:

  • Emtek Vidio (Indonesia) - exclusively on the Vidio freemium streaming platform.
  • StarHub (Singapore) on the Hub Sports pay TV channels.
  • True Visions (Thailand) on the True Sports pay TV channels.
  • Astro (Malaysia) on the Super Sports pay TV channels.
  • SkyNet (Myanmar) exclusively on the SkyNet sports channels.
  • ICE Network channels (Maldives) on the Medianet pay TV platform.
  • K+ (Vietnam) on K+Sports 2 sports channel and the K+ Application.

Rest of World

Globally in over 190 markets, and in non-exclusive territories in APAC, EASL games will be available on DAZN at no cost to registered users across global territories.

In the Middle East and N. Africa, eVision, the media arm of e& (formerly known as Etisalat) will also be streaming the games on its AVOD platform, STARZ ON, and eVision services, eLife and Switch TV, to its users.

Live streams of all EASL games will also be available to watch through EASL’s Facebook account in all territories not covered by broadcast or streaming rights agreements.
