EASL Champions Week winners Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters will have a chance to defend their EASL title after clinching the last Group A Final Four spot with an 88-76 victory over TNT Tropang Giga.

Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters came into the game needing a victory in one of their final two games to clinch a spot in the Final Four.

They did just that with a convincing win over TNT Tropang Giga in Manila this evening. The result eliminated both TNT and Taipei Fubon Braves from Final Four contention.

Jung Kwan Jang came out roaring, outscoring the Philippine hosts 34-19 in the first quarter. The visiting team never looked back, seeing home the victory 88-76.

Jung Kwan Jang went with a short lineup this evening, playing just seven of their players.

All five starters played over 33 minutes and all scored in double figures.

Choi Seong Won led the way with a team-high 23 points, going a perfect 7 for 7 from beyond the arc.

  1. Valiant effort from RHJ brothers

Despite TNT's loss, the Hollis-Jefferson brothers both played brilliant games, helping the PBA team make the result respectable.

The brothers combined for 53 of TNT's 76 points, with Rondae scoring a game-high 33 points. He also added seven rebounds and seven assists to his stat line.

Rahlir contributed with 20 points, grabbing a team-high 12 boards, and swiped a game-high four steals.

EASL Player of the Game: Robert Carter Jr., Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters

Jung Kwan Jang import Robert Carter Jr. had a great all-around game, scoring 22 points, grabbing a game-high 14 rebounds, and adding seven assists.

Carter only joined Jung Kwan Jang in December, as a replacement for EASL Champions Week MVP Omari Spellman. He is averaging 24.5 points and eight rebounds in two EASL games.

Stat of the Day

Threes were raining down in Manila tonight, as Jung Kwan Jang went 15 for 30 for 50 percent from beyond the arc.

The team was shooting 40.5 percent from three in their previous four EASL games.

On the other hand, TNT made just five of their 21 three-point shot attempts, for 23 percent.
