EASL and Studio City unveil fan and community engagements around “Clash of the Champions” game

December 13, 2023 – Studio City Event Center, Macau - East Asia Super League (EASL) and Melco Resorts & Entertainment have revealed an extensive line-up of fan engagement and community outreach activities around the upcoming event “Melco Style Presents: Clash of the Champions”.

The centerpiece of the collaboration remains the Meralco Bolts vs. Ryukyu Golden Kings EASL 2023-24 Season game on December 13 (next Wednesday), staged at Studio City Event Center, part of the Studio City integrated resort in Macau.

At a press conference on Tuesday, December 5, EASL and Melco Resorts & Entertainment officially announced activities taking place around the game, including:

Saturday, December 9 – A basketball clinic with Philippine ex-professionals Sol Mercado and Jay Washington at Falcons Basketball Club

Sunday, December 10 – An event with FILCAM, the Filipino Community Alliance in Macau, in collaboration with the local Philippine Consulate General

Tuesday, December 12 – An event at Macao Sam Yuk Middle School, featuring the Meralco Bolts team; school students; Macao Special Olympics team members; and Melco basketball team volunteers.

Wednesday, December 13 – GAMEDAY: Meralco Bolts vs. Ryukyu Golden Kings at Studio City Event Center, tipping off at 7 p.m. local time. The evening’s entertainment includes:

• A halftime show by Philippine street dance crew Legit Status (the 2023 World Hip Hop Dance Champions)
• An after party at Club MOP, Studio City

The plans underscore the aligned ambitions of Melco Resorts & Entertainment and EASL to provide visitors and fans with wide-ranging entertainment experiences.
