East Asia Super League to Stage Game in Macau’s Studio City

“Melco Style Presents: Clash of the Champions” Game Between Meralco Bolts and Ryukyu Golden Kings

Macau SAR, November 13, 2023 – East Asia Super League has agreed a sponsorship deal with Melco Resorts & Entertainment. The company’s integrated resort Studio City will be the venue to bring the 13th game of the 2023-24 season to a live audience in Macau on December 13, 2023, at Studio City Event Center.

Titled “Melco Style Presents: Clash of the Champions”, the match will present to audiences the best of East Asian basketball and sports entertainment through a face-off between two of the region’s biggest teams.

Philippines Basketball Association (PBA) team Meralco Bolts will play against the Japan B.LEAGUE’s Ryukyu Golden Kings.

The event is fully supported by the Sports Bureau of Macao SAR Government to provide more diversified sports and leisure experiences for tourists visiting Macao. It also contributes to promoting the development of synergistic integration of the tourism and leisure industry with the sports industry.

The EASL 2023-24 season tipped off on Wednesday, October 11. The season features 24 home and away group stage games through to February 2024. The EASL Final Four in March 2024 will see the top four teams in the group stage compete over four games for the title of East Asian champion.

Live coverage of the EASL 2023-24 season is being broadcast and streamed globally on major television and streaming platforms including: U-NEXT in Japan, SPOTV in Korea and Southeast Asia, Cignal TV in the Philippines, Zhibo8 and other platforms in China, FIBA’s Courtside 1891 and EASL’s Facebook channel.
