East Asia Super League Announces  Broadcast and Streaming Partners for EASL Champions Week

EASL closes deals with 22 Asia’s leading TV and digital networks with more on horizon

Hong Kong SAR, February 7, 2023 – East Asia Super League (EASL) has announced broadcast and streaming partnersfor EASL Champions Week takingplace in Utsunomiya and Okinawa, Japan, March 1-5, 2023. EASL fans can catch all the action from the comfort of their homes and on-the-go devices with commentary in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean and English. 

"We are thrilled to partner with Asia’s leading TV and digital networks to bring the excitementof EASL Champions Week to fans across the globe," said EASL CEO Matt Beyer. "EASL is the premier basketball entertainment experience in the region, and we are eager to showcase our games to fans March 1-5." 

The league’s eight-qualified champions and runner-up teams from EASL partner leagues, the Japan B.LEAGUE, Korea KBL, Philippine PBA, Chinese Taipei P.LEAGUE+ and the EASL-seeded Bay Area Dragons will battle for the EASL crown and lucrative cash prizes. The first-place team will receive USD 250,000, while the runner-up and third place teams will receive USD 100,000 and USD 50,000, respectively. 

Fans can catch all the action from EASL Champions Week on more than 22 networks in EASL core markets. Major platforms such as: Tencent, MIGU, Youku in Mainland China; BasketLIVE in Japan;SpoTV in Korea; TV5/Cignal TV/OneSport and SkyCable in the Philippines; Momo TV and Formosa TV in Chinese Taipei, and SpoTV in Hong Kong and Macau SARs will all cover of the exciting competition.  *For BasketLIVE, Games to be live-streamed will be decided later.
